Internationale anarchistische Radioprojekte – Input und Ideenwerkstatt

In einem kurzen Vortrag soll es zunächst um aktuelle Radioprojekte gehen, die sich auf internationaler Ebene abspielen: die Infrastrukturkampagne vom A-Radio Berlin, die monatliche Infosendung “B(A)D NEWS” und der libertäre 24/7-Onlinestream des “Channel Zero Network“. Alle haben ihren eigenen Charakteristiken und sprechen unterschiedliche Bedüfnisse an. Ihnen gemein ist jedoch der Wille, über den eigenen Tellerrand zu schauen und die gegenseitige Hilfe auch im Kontext des Äthers und der digitalen Medien umzusetzen.

Im Anschluss an den Input möchten wir gemeinsam diskutieren, wie sich die bestehenden Projekte unterstützen oder womöglich noch verbessern lassen. Außerdem werden wir versuchen, einige kreative Ideen für neue Projekte zu spinnen. Kommt dazu!

International anarchist radio projects – Input and ideas workshop

First there will be a short input presenting ongoing radio projects that are being implemented at an international level: the infrastructure campaign from A-Radio Berin, the monthly news show “B(A)D NEWS” and the anarchist 24/7 livestream from the “Channel Zero Network“. All of these projects have their own qualities and address different needs. What they have in common though, is the determination of looking beyond their own horizon and practicing mutual aid in the context of airwaves and digital media as well.

After the input we would like to debate together how the current projects can be supported or even improved. Further more we would like to try explore creative ideas for new projects. Join the discussion!

Vortrag/Presentation: Alternative zu Knästen / Alternative to prisons

The modern concept of justice is not older than couple of hundreds of years. The massive prison complexes used to punish and enslave disobeying parts of the society are now becoming every day routine in most capitalist countries. Privatization of the prison system in some places turn the whole concept of punishment into a profitable business with prisoners nowadays not only sewing clothes for police and militaries, but also work in everyday spheres starting from food production and ending with call centers of companies serving you internet.

In workshop we would like to challenge the whole notion of prisons. What would the world look like without it – full of murderers and rapists? What would be our community alternative to deal with the social conflicts? Is there at all any alternative to the prisons? We believe so and together we hope to open the doors of prisons by imagining today and tomorrow with empty cells.

Das moderne Justizsystem ist nicht älter als ein paar hundert Jahre. Massive Knastkomplexe, benutzt zur Bestrafung und Unterjochung von unbeugsamen Teilen der Gesellschaft, sind Alltag in kapitalistischen Ländern. Die Privatisierung der Knäste ändert das Konzept der Bestrafung in ein profitables Geschäft mit Gefangenen, welche heutzutage nicht nur Kleidung für Polizei und Militär herstellen, sondern auch in alltäglichen Bereichen von Lebensmittelherstellung bis Arbeit im Callcenter deines Internet-Providers.

In diesem Workshop möchten wir uns mit den verschiedenen Begriffen, die Knäste mit sich bringen, kritich auseinander setzen. Wie würde die Welt ohne Knäste aussehen- Wäre sie voll mit Mörder*innen und Vergewaltiger*innen? Was wäre unsere gesellschaftliche Alternative um mit sozialen Konflikten umzugehen? Gibt es überhaupt eine Alternative zu Knästen? Wir denken ja und wir hoffen die Türen der Knäte zu öffnen, indem wir über eine Zukunft mit leeren Zellen nachdenken.

Vortrag/Presentation: A-Radio Berlin

Was ist anarchistisches Radio? Was zum Teufel ist eine anarchistische Föderation und was bringt’s da mitzumachen?

Als anarchistisches Radiokollektiv ist das A-Radio Berlin seit vielen Jahren in der Föderation deutschsprachiger Anarchist*innen (FdA) organisiert. Im Rahmen dieses Vortrags stellt ein Mitglied die Arbeit der Radiogruppe vor, die über das Erstellen von Audios weit hinaus reicht, und erläutert dann Prinzipien, Funktionsweise und Aktivitäten der Föderation anhand praktischer Beispiele. Im Anschluss seid ihr herzlich eingeladen, eure Fragen loszuwerden oder über auftauchende Fragen zu diskutieren.

What is anarchist radio? What the hell is a federation and what is it good for?

As anarchist radio collective, A-Radio Berlin has been an active member of the Federation of German-speaking anarchists (FdA) for several years now. As part of the presentation, a member of this radio group will present its work – that goes far beyond simply creating audios – and explains the principles, the ways of organizing and activities of the federation based on practical examples. Afterwards your are most welcome to ask your questions and also to debate any topics that came up.
